These are typical reactions from audience members of all ages who've seen the Young Continentals perform, both here at St. Jude's and nationwide.  If you've seen them yourself, you can probably relate!  And if you haven't, you're in for a treat Sunday evening, August 1st at 7pm.
Most of you already know that this is the group Stephanie toured with four times, and now Hannah is off on her first experience.  As many Continental Singers concerts as I've attended over the last seven years, I can honestly say that this year's group is the most talented, best trained and best mentored I've ever seen.  You will be so blessed when you see their energy and hear them sing and watch them ham it up!   (And yes, I would say this even if my own kid wasn't in the troupe!)  J
Their performance will also be the very last one of their tour-and, speaking from personal experience, it's always better to go out with a bang than a whimper.  So please mark your calendar and plan to come out and support these dedicated young people who've sacrificed so much to go on this musical missions trip, travelling across the country for five weeks.
And bring a friend!!  Fr. Wes is always talking about outreach and fellowship beyond Sunday mornings, and this is such an easy, non-threatening thing to invite people to.  It's free and it's local.  And it's GOOD!  Such a deal!
Normally, I'd be asking for people to be host families, but since this is their final concert, they'll be spending the night at the church.   However, we still need to provide dinner for them, so if you are interested in helping with that, please contact me!
