Bishop Schofield has scheduled his next visit to us to coincide with our annual Greening of the Church on December 21st. Right now we have nine people scheduled for Confirmation. This will be a perfect chance to bring a friend and celebrate the anticipation of Christmas.
Due to Fr. Wes' deployment in January, we scheduled our annual meeting for December 14th. This will be after a combined service, and we will serve submarine sandwiches for brunch. At the meeting we will elect some new Bishop's Committee members, representatives for Diocesan Convention and approve our budget for 2009. It is very important to turn in your pledge card by then so that we know how much provision we have to work with. Thank you.

We plan to 'spotlight' a different ministry each month. In order to accurately describe what each ministry does, both for the church and for the community, I will need your help. If you are involved in one of our many ministries, please send me information about the ministry and I will write an article to inform our parishioners what our ministries are all about. I really need your help with this effort as there are some ministries whose mission I am not fully informed about.
