Women
At the Spring Assembly of the Daughters of the King held at the Cathedral, Bishop John-David delivered a powerful address.  Our Bishop related to the daughters his very gripping personal experience of Spiritual Warfare with the forces of evil.  He made (makes) a verifiable point that our nation--and our church as well-is experiencing Spiritual Warfare.  The Women's Bible Study at St. Jude's has been studying Spiritual l Warfare as our current study.  We five attendees knew exactly what the Bishop was talking about.

Bishop John-David EXHORTED the Daughters of the King to PRAY.   He was released from his personal Spiritual Warfare by pleading the blood of Jesus.  He emphasized and illustrated that there is great POWER IN PRAYER-your prayers.

Following his exhortation to PRAY FOR OUR NATION, you are asked to make praying for our nation your priority.  Please begin and continue your prayers.  See BCP pages 820 -827, prayers 18 through 37.  It takes only seconds to pray one prayer each day.  Take a few more seconds to pray for our local and worldwide church and for Bishop John-David.

Prayer is something we can offer every day and not just on Sundays.  Each month the prayer requests that the St. Jude's Prayer Circle receives, which are printed in the St. Jude's Church Bulletin, will be printed in the newsletter so that we can include our church family and friends in our daily prayers.  Prayer requests should be submitted to the Prayer Box located in the church or contact Judy Auger or Jack Hill for emergency prayer requests.

Please include the following members of our church family and friends in your prayers:
Archbishop Venables, Bishop Schofield, Kathryn, Wilma, Myrtle, Bryan Sr., Bryan Jr., Randy,
Wayne C., Joanna, Dan, Keith, Jim, Tom P., Bob, Greg, Jim, John, Jen, Jenifer, members of our Armed Forces, and our Missionaries Dottie Gleason, Jim and Philista Short, and Martin and Rose Bunsey.
